If I'm not mistaken, this is my best work yet?

Everything was hand-drawn, even the shinies (but I copy-pasted a few of those.)

So here goes my baby into the cold cruel intarwebz... @w@ I'm nervous! I hope the background looks okay and not weird, if you know me then you know that I never do backgrounds...

I plan to send this is Nintendo as a gift. Do you think they'll accept it? When I used to get Nintendo Power magazine I know that they would publish readers' art, but I'm not sure if they do that anymore... it's been a dream of mine to have my art in there though. If they don't do it anymore that's fine, but for the effort and love XD put into this I think some Ninten peeps should see it.

I know it's not exactly official art style, I like to think of it as a beefed up version. I can't help but think I overdid the background though... I thought about adding more wind yet it's so busy already I decided not to.
The hurricanes are different than the ones in Wind Waker, I know.
I tried to make [mostly] subtle but good color transitions in most places... ^_^
And I just realized that Link is probably playing the wrong note? XD I have no idea what he's even playing, I don't remember anything... *goes Ilia* I mean, I haven't played Wind Waker in a long time since my brother traded it in! D: I wanted to play it and couldn't... how depressing...

The original is much, much bigger. It's over 1000 pixels high. I might make a wallpaper out of it, if this is well-received. :3

EDIT 9/22/09: Alright everybody, I'm very sorry for hashing this up again if you're not interested in this picture, but I just did some major reworking on Link! I got rid of some unnecessary folds in his tunic, fixed his face, colored that little bit of light green shirt I forgot (I can't believe someone even reminded me, yet I never remembered! I'm sorry ;__; ), made the Wind Waker more shiny~ and more! Compared to the old pic, the details really added up for a big difference.

EDIT 7/25/10: Yet more editing to this, lol... but not enough to bother you all about it. XD I really wish I could fix his eyebrows and face some more, but I can't because the layered art I have doesn't have all the changes I've done over time... so I just added some more atmosphere by adding more blue hues overall and to Link. Carry on, please enjoy my art~
